Lufthansa received this Airbus A340-211, registered as D-AIBA, on January 1993 and later applied this livery on May 1998, which features multi-logo airline livery which includes six airlines as the foundation members of Star Alliance. Lufthansa kept this livery up until January 2003, when Lufthansa retired the aircraft and was later operated by South African Airways.
