:compass: Purpose or Role in Game
Regional jet with long range that is becoming increasingly prevalent as a replacement of lower capacity narrow body aircraft. Competes primarily with the Airbus A220-100. Officially, the E175-E2 is also part of the family, however, to date there have been no confirmed orders due to it failing to meet US scope clause agreements for regional airlines and the relative young age of existing E170/E175 aircraft.

:chart_increasing: Why should this aircraft be added?
Increasing prevalence in many airline fleets as it’s a new aircraft type. This is especially true for GRU, as Azul is a major operator of the E195-E2 and operates many real-life routes using it instead of the existing E190 in-game.

:airplane: Airlines that use it
Most notable airlines include: Azul, Porter Airlines, KLM Cityhopper, Helvetic, Scoot, LOT Polish

Aircraft have a long range despite being quite small; for example, Royal Jordanian uses its E195-E2 on routes to Europe, such as to Amsterdam (AMS/EHAM). However, the aircraft are also certified to operate to unique airports such as London City Airport (LCY/EGLC) with Helvetic operating the E195-E2 there, making it the largest aircraft able to operate out of the airport.

They haven’t, they confirmed the ERJ series (so at least the ERJ-145) and the next generation E-Jet remodel, which is the E170, E175 and E190, plus the potential addition of the E195.

It says there will be a redesign of the current Embraer family now in the game including the classic ERJ jets and new-generation E-jets. The word including means here that those will be added, so yes the E2 Jets are confirmed. Also the E170, E175 and E190 ar not the new-generation. The image

I must have misunderstood then, I assumed that the next gen stuff is the current line up of E-Jets that we already have, as I can’t say I’ve ever seen the E2 family referred to as the new gen E-Jets before, especially since the E175 is still in production alongside the E2 family.

Yesterday I flew the E2 for the first time - three times in a row. I read it’s the quietest single-aisle aircraft in the world, and oh boy, it IS quiet!

Please mind you that I’m used to flying AT76s and A320 CEOs, neither a good reference. But I’ve flew the A20N before, and the experience in the E2 was just… better. With noise cancelling headsets, I could barely hear any noise at all!

Anyways, just wanna say I’m really happy to see it coming to WoA :slightly_smiling_face:

Not sure if its only the E2s that are that much quieter, but my last two flights on E75Ls, I’m so surprised when they spool up to TO/GA power and it’s anticlimactic… SO quiet compared to, say, A CRJ or other narrowbody.

E170/E175 are first gen, E190-E2/E195-E2 are quieter, even tho they’re (much) bigger. Man, you have no idea! All 3 were VERY pleasant flights.

Today I flew in an old A319 and a new gen A21N (A321 Neo). Measurements say the E190-E2 is 28% quieter than the A21N, but it somehow felt to be way more than that. Yes yes, I know, apples and bananas, completely different categories, nearly double the pax. Just saying: the overall flying experience in the E2 is just great. Touching the ground during landing was so soft I could barely feel… huge overhead luggage compartment, smaller boarding lines, high definition screen… I wonder if the A220 is as good of an experience, but I don’t think I’ll have a chance to fly in one anytime soon.

Anyway, in case you or anyone else wanna read about it, there were a lot of engineering effort for the E2s to be this quiet:
