What is your suggestion?
I would like to see that the more modern, efficient widebody jets get a significant profit buff so that they are more viable to use as fleet planes especially when compared to the older and inefficient Quadjets like the Boeing 747 and Airbus A380 that are, as things stand, the most profitable planes in the game by quite a large margin.
How would it work in the game?
- Increasing ticket prices for the A350 and 787 family or lower their CO2 fees
- Adjust the way seating configs work as planes such as the two aforementioned ones (especially the A350-1000) suffer heavily from way too little seats due to the configs being dependent on a planeβs exit limit. The A350-1000 has 70 economy seats less than their 77Ws when both have 20 First suites even though they should be really close in that area.
Why is this a good idea?
This would enhance realism as instead of being encouraged to use the biggest planes for the best profit the option to use more of the smaller, efficient and modern Twinjets such as the A350 and B787 (especially the former) that are defined by their low operating costs and high economical capabilities is made more viable itself. It would also reflect how the aviation market is currently going away from big and fuel-hungry widebodies to smaller, lighter and especially very efficient twinjets
