[Economy] - Using wollars once an airport is finished to purchase slots

:bullseye: What is your suggestion?
Currently, I have got Heathrow to Level 84 but I have lost any incentive to keep playing it as I have run out of slots to add new airlines in or new routes. Now we currently have the ability to expend silver or gold to purchase new slots, but that isn’t particularly useful considering, I believe, the majority of people will want to save them up to use on purchasing other airports and their premium passes. What I propose is once a pass has been completed and there is no more to unlock, the game gives you a little more freedom in what to spend your wollars on. This wouldn’t affect the gameplay grind for other airports and also wouldn’t detract from any profits the WOA team will be making, as I presume the majority of people who purchase gold for the game, don’t use it for slot purchase, though this is just an assumption.
The wollars shouldn’t be a cheap option but also shouldn’t be astronomical, makes no sense buying a slot for 100,000 wollars at Innsbruck when it takes you a while to get to that number, but somewhere like Heathrow you can earn a hell of a lot more so maybe if it was adjustable depending on the airport.

:hammer_and_wrench: How would it work in the game?
Once you complete the premium pass you get a congratulations screen which tells you that you’ve completed the airport and now have unlocked the ability to purchase slots for wollars. This could also include other things if they’re thought of being added when the grind is over. The wollars prices should differ per airport depending on the size and the profits that airport can produce.

:balance_scale: Why is this a good idea?
It would provide players with more incentive to continue playing an airport once it is full. It would also allow players to have the same airline run multiple aircraft types on the same route which would coincide with the future scheduling system, rather than sacrificing one flight for another airline as they haven’t got enough silver in the coffers to pay for a slot. Also, airports are ever changing irl and thus if a player mimics an airport, new routes open up regularly which cannot be repeated in-game if they can’t afford slots, but have an excess in wollars.

No idea what to put here. Just imagine a new screen once you hit the end of the premium pass saying woohoo you did it you’ve unlocked the ability to do ‘this’.

It’s supposed to be difficult to get new slots, because I’m sure the devs have calculated how many contract should be at any given airport. If you have more than that, it becomes almost impossible to efficiently handle all of them, which is supposed to be avoided, which explains the “high” purchase price, which if you’re at such level, you should have no problem getting that sum of silver planes. It’s really not that hard to get 3500 SP in a day, just saying.

I know that, I’m more thinking if people have moved from airport A to airport B but still want to play airport A, however are saving all their silver and gold for airport B and then C onwards, would give A more playability than becoming stagnant. Also, gives no advantage to the grind as you’re still playing on an airport which you’ve completed and it provides no more silver to your coffers. Currently have a few aiports unlocked and because I’m low level on a lot, and LHR/Bari have become a bit boring for me, I’m not making much silver. But if I do LHR for a few hours I normally rack up quite a bit.
