Editing forum posts indefinitely?

Hello! I have a question for any forum-experienced people/moderators on this forum regarding editing and updating posts.

I just recently made an account on this forum, because I wanted to become active in helping develop the wiki, more specifically aiding in creating and updating realistic route guides and data as airports get released. I have actually followed this forum for quite a while as a guest account, but I just recently made an actual account.

The other day I created the first of my guides for the wiki, and I thought I had a solution that would allow me to continuously edit the guide on a regular basis for real-life changes, but I lost editing privileges to that post today, which caught me by surprise.

My question is, is there any way for a normal user like myself to be able to edit my own posts indefinitely? Like I previously stated, I am new to this forum and discourse forums altogether, so I thought I would ask if any of the more experienced users would be able to help me out. I appreciate any responses, thank you so much!

I think it is about [Trust Level] of your account and you have more daily edit quota when you are in higher levels.

Just out of curiosity, do you have an active discord account that is a member of the WoA discord?

And Dreamliner is right. It is about trust level. Under his name, he has the tag ‘regular.’ This basically gives full non-admin privileges with minor exceptions. Some of the below aren’t applied for this forum in particular but generally they are the same.

I believe you can get around that edit limit by making the post wiki although that allows others to edit of course and you can’t do that at TL0, which is where you are, anyway.

Okay, so think I’m TL1 right now, and I should get TL2 in like a week. But what you are saying is that if I want to be able to edit my wiki posts forever I will need to be TL3/regular?
