Why should this airline be added?
A government owned airline from Eritrea which is still operating,, even without aircraft as of 2023. It was founded in May 1991 just after a slightly angry independence war from Ethiopia. The airline operated in the livery the 763 above is wearing up until the very early 2010s when it changed to the main one shown above. The airline was banned from the EU in 2012, which was problematic as a lot of their routes were to the likes of Italy and Germany using the A320s, however they kept operating to the likes of Dubai and Pakistan (had Pakistani owners at the time), with their 762. The airline changed livery again at some point in the late 2010s which you can see above on the 330 and 733. Surprisingly in 2018, talks were going on with Ethiopian Airlines taking ownership but those talks have stalled since the whole peace deal between the 2 countries is a tad strained atm. The 767-200 is currently stored at Asmara so maybe it will reappear again, it is an ex Qantas bird with 40 years on clock though so we’ll see.
Would be another airline of Africa in the game combined with a very snazzy livery.
