:pushpin: Why should this airline be added?
In 1971 this airline was founded as an LCC based at Miami. It commenced operations in 1972 operating until 1984 when it was sold to Midway Airlines. It was involved in an infamous fatal accident in 1982 which tarnished the reputation of the airline leading it to struggle till 1984 which is why it was bought up.

It would be an excellent addition as a special livery for North American and Caribbean airports as well as potentially LHR with the DC10 as a stand in for LGW.

Air Florida had previously operated 2 Boeing 707-300s (B703), which were wet-leased when the airline was launched for intrastate operations in 1971. These aircraft were swiftly retired in 1973 and returned to their lessor.

It was also featured on the Air Florida timetable in September 1972 showing three routes operated between Miami - St. Petersburg, Miami - Orlando, and Orlando - St. Petersburg

On a sidenote, In July 1981, Air Florida began routes to Europe with the DC-10s and were proposing multiple destinations which include routes to Europe and South America, and includes multiple airports in the game like SCL, SXM & ZRH. These proposed routes would not come into fruition following Financial loss and Flight 90 crash. What could had been ?
