When viewing any plane in from the cinematic camera view, a head on view looks like it’s centered on the taxi line, but a side view shows the landing gears completely off the line. I’m sorry I don’t have a picture since it’s very hard to transfer images to my computer, but I believe you can test this yourself, with any plane in IAD at least.
I’ve noticed that too. It seems to be only at IAD though, but I could be wrong.
I’ve attached some images to illustrate the problem, as it is very clear in them.

Some planes are even worse when taxiing, to the point where they can have the rear gear on the line. I even thought it was floating at one point.
