Why should this airline be added?
This airline was found in 2017 as Anisec Luftfahrt, changing its name to Level Europe in December 2019, as a subsidiary of Vueling with the aim of taking on the assets of collapsed Niki article 2, whereby it was due to gain lots of desirable slots at airports across Germany and Austria but this fell through after Laudamotion, late Lauda Air the current Ryanair subsidiary, got the rights to the airline. It launched flights in 2018 taking on 4 ex-Air Berlin A321βs and intitally being planned to be called Vueling Austria if the Niki takeover was successful, with I presume a Vueling livery worn by the aircraft however this never happened and instead the aircraft were painted into Level colours. In early 2020, a small global pandemic happened and the airline was folded, merging it into Level of Spain and closing the base at Vienna. The aircraft were transferred fairly quickly to Vueling bringing to an end the Level short haul fleet.
The reason for including this was in 2020 it was due to operate a couple of charter flights from INN, taking the place of previous Niki, and to compete with Eurowings as Lufthansa had decided to try the same thing at INN, a little rivalry between Lufthansa Group and IAG, but ofc the pandemic cut short both airlines operations. Itβd make for a great addition to Vienna and for INN as a local carrier.
