Try force cosing the game and then log in with google play/game center
Your account is not connected to Google play, the rest of the message is self-explanatory. Just connect and your progress will be saved online no matter which or how many device/s you use. The circle will turn green and instead of the sequence of numbers, your account name will be up there as well.

Ok, thanks. It worked. 
I wasn‘t sure if the connect button was right, because there came a message that warns for lost of progress. But this meant the progress of the „new“ local account.
