If World of Airports freezes, stutters, or suddenly closes while you’re playing , this is usually related to device performance or memory limits — especially at larger airports .
Don’t worry — your account and progress are safe and not affected by this issue.
Why does this happen?
During gameplay, the game uses more system resources. Freezing or crashes can occur when:
The device runs out of available RAM
Large airports have many active aircraft and contracts
Graphics settings are too demanding for the device
The device is older or under heavy background load
In these cases, the operating system may automatically close the game to protect the device.
How to Improve Stability
Please try the following steps in order — most issues are resolved by one or two of them.
Basic Performance Steps
- Restart your device
- Close all other running apps
- Make sure your device system software is up to date
Adjust Graphics Settings (Highly Recommended)
- Open Main Menu → Settings → Video Options
- Set Graphics Quality to Fast
This greatly reduces memory usage and improves stability.
Reduce In-Game Load
If crashes happen mainly at large airports:
- Reduce the number of active airplane contracts
- Avoid very busy airports on weaker devices
- Try playing a smaller airport instead
Clear Cache or Reinstall (Safe if Linked)
If the issue continues:
- Clear the game cache (or app data)
- Or reinstall the game from the official app store
As long as your account is linked to
Apple Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android) ,
your progress will automatically reload after signing in.
Device Performance
If possible, you may also:
- Switch to a more powerful device
Your progress stays synced when using the same login account.
Looking Ahead
We are actively working on performance optimizations in future updates.
Some hardware limitations, however, cannot be fully overcome in the current version.
