General Pre-Release Discussion

Looks good I say.

I recall that it was mentioned at one point that a Canadian airport would be launched that would include vintage aircraft models. I don’t remember exactly when that was, but I think this must be the moment for it to happen.

A Canadian airport may or may not be part of an update that may or may not include the full 737 family, including vintage ones, as many Canadian airlines such as Air North™ and Air Inuit™ fly them.

Yeah, that was Yellowknife. We haven’t heard much about it in a while, however.

Was back few years ago as Tammany said, was hinted at Yellowknife as they showed the animal of Buffalo as a clue.

Does anybody know, why the clearance to land at RWY 14 in ZRH is different? Most time the clearance will get after the previous plane drove past the holding line after exit the RWY, others get the clearance very late. Some Previous planes achive, beforhand next clearance to land, RWY 28 for crossing or E Dock.

Same with the take-off rnw 32. Previous plane is almost half way when the next one starts lining up. Other airports they line-up immediatly when the previous starts takk-off roll.

I was wondering as well but it does give a more realistic departure separation procedure

I would think the ATC and plane would both want to leave as soon as possible, but I know irl planes don’t line up as soon as takeoff roll starts.

Not necessarily true, planes line up as the prior one starts their roll on the runway especially at larger airport however will only start their roll once the other one crosses the end of the runway (at least, mostly depending type and wake categories) but in the game as soon as the preceding aircraft rotates the succeeding already starts their roll and that’s not ATC standard

I think it has to do with the landing planes, if the plane goes around it is in the path of the departing runway

This is exactly the reason. If you tell an aircraft to take off and then the landing aircraft does a go around, they’re on a direct collision course. Once its slowed down enough or once the aircraft taking off has passed a certain point, they’re no longer a threat to one another.

Hello everyone. I’d like to thank the developers for the update featuring new modifications and liveries for the two four-engine models. I’m really happy to see the arrival of the four oldest Boeing 747 variants, even if the livery selection is currently limited (I realize this is just the beginning). There’s already a substantial collection of A340 liveries, so presumably, there aren’t many left to add. I really liked ZRH.

I’m sure many are curious about what’s coming after version 3.6.0 over the next 2–3, may be 4 months, in 3.6.1 and 3.7.0 versions. When will the new dedicated chat open? Or are discussions still ongoing and decisions yet to be finalized?

Will you continue adding liveries for the older Boeing 747 variants (which are currently few in number), or will you introduce the older twin-engine Boeing 737 variants (specifically the -100 through -700 series, which are currently missing)? Or perhaps the focus will simply be on adding missing liveries for existing twin- or tri-engine models?

Which playable airport is next? Or will it be a generic one? Judging by previous discussions, it likely won’t be in Europe, given that there are already six European airports—four of which are located close to one another.

Or will the update simply involve visual enhancements to existing airports?

Are there any planned additions that no one knows about yet, or that haven’t been discussed much recently?

Whatever decisions you make regarding new content, I will respect them, given your track record of updates and the sheer complexity of the tasks you tackle. After all, the order of the addends doesn’t change the sum

Hope it’s a generic one since we haven’t got once after CNN in 3.3.0. If i had to guess maybe 1 in South America or Oceania (especially the latter since we only have SYD)
Its not confirmed though i decided to guess so it might be true, it might not.

Has anyone noticed this? (Or was ist there before)

Air Ballons and little stalls

I’m pretty sure those were always there. As a reference to the Paris Air Show held at that location (LBG).

The spotting camera number 1 needs to be revised, please; the camera doesn’t track the aircraft the whole way. And the spotting cam number 1 not rotation 360°C

Yeah honestly I’m not a huge fan of that. Oh and the fact you can tilt camera 3 up and down, because it becomes basically impossible to watch takeoffs on the nearby runway. Anyways, I hope the consider changing it soon.

You can see it in the game now. This is exciting news!
