Has Generic airports been scrapped? Because I thought they was done so that more airports could be released quicker.

A generic airport in the canarias or morocco would solve that problem.
Or DSS itself as a new playable airport. That would then also help to jumpstart an african expansion of playable airports.

Im going to say my opinion for the final time about large airports as im getting quite fed up with it.
I think we are getting to much larger airports like LHR, HKG and ZRH remember we have other users that have devices donāt performed well and dont want to shell put money on a new phone (im fact my device is currently struggling with HKG at the moment as it crashes several times and get uncomfortably hot hence i had to reconfigure my settings).
If we added IST, AMS, FRA or any other large airport then we will see more device crashing and some may get extremely hot which its morealess a ticking time bomb if the device explodes while playing WOA.
I belive we need more smaller airport and more generic as the last generic airport was added over a year ago like really?! I also wouldnāt mind medium airports but i would stay away with large airport unless its an airport that is exclusively for PC.
Let me make it clear, i respect peoples opinions and i understand but at the end of the day its a MOBILE game not a PC game (though i understand its now on PC but it sould be PC game to begin with)
My comments are over, im personally just going to ignore all the backlash and shouting that i might get from thisā¦

My phone is quite new (from oct 2025). Its an oppo find X9 pro to be precise if u want to know, and my phone literally becomes 45 degrees celcius for playing SCL or GRU alone, yet it can still perfectly handle BKK, HKG and LHR. I personally like big airports because it feels to me very lively and makes me hyped when i play with the camera of a certain aircraft and i suddenly see an aircraft taking of or landing in the background. I like smaller airports aswell, but not as small as INN or BARI. But hey, everyone has his opinion ig and i believe the devs try to satisfy everyone 
I truly understand your comment as my previous phone couldnt handle Woa at all ever since GRU released.

To be fair, I think the Canary Islands would be an excellent spot for a fully modelled airport. A lot of the required liveries for most of the airports are already in game, the game also allows short haul widebodies down to the Canary Islands, so for once you get an airport that releases with them. Its also a good way to introduce a lot of African airlines and liveries, whilst also establishing somewhere an African airport could have connections with an airport that isnāt in the main cluster of in game European airports or Muscat.
An airport in the area also helps space traffic out from the main cluster of European airports, whilst also being easily accessible from the airports in North and South America. You also have the interesting backdrops that airports such as TFS and ACE have, whilst also being a refreshing change from the large multi-runway airports we seem to be getting lately.

I agree canary island is good spot. Iām pretty sure charlie wrote the one after prg remodel isnt european. And canary islands are european

It is technically a part of Spain, but it is geographically part of Africa I think.
Kind of how the UK still technically owns Bermuda as an overseas territory, but itās obviously part of North America, not Europe.

Summit Air is used in Canada tho :). Even though itās not the right livery but maybe itās Canadian airport again? Just bringing Canada back into the ring.

Since the guesses are a long way off at present, here is a guess out of left field:
Airline in photo is Summit Air
Summit Air is the name of two seperate airlines
One of the airlines called Summit Air is based out of Nepal
The other airline named Summit Air is based out of Yellowknife, Canada ( Summit Air - Wikipedia )
The Canadian airline do not operate the L410 but it is an airport the Devs have spoken about in the past.

So Iām lost 
. If going off hot moments, Gatwick was mentioned once and North America, our previous target, was mentioned only a couple of times. Montreal and Toronto twice, San Francisco once as was Seattle. It also ties into the cooling as the conversation turned back towards cooling as Charlie says.
No idea how the L410 ties in though lol. Summit Air in Canada could make sense but the āliveries arenāt chosen at randomā line is stumping me because it insinuates summit air Nepal was chosen not at random, not the Canadian airline. I am stumped. Iām just gonna go with my pre-Kathmandu hunch and say Calgary or Vancouver and leave it be . Brain hurts now.
