Maybe Yellowknife is coming with some 737 originals in 3.9.0? Because the L410 and PRG remodel is 3.7.0, then KTM or another airport in 3.8.0, and then Yellowknife with 737s in 3.9.0? Idk, just throwing out ideas.

Actually my suspicion is DEL at the very first moment because they teased DEL before and we know that was delayed (not cancelled) due to development economics issues related to the game.
Considering the story of MSY, I do feel DEL will somewhat likely to be the Christmas gift in Decā¦ Who knowsā¦

my thoughts exactly, i understand that it might be a bit of a stretch given theyāve said earlier this year regions like india and africa didnāt have the best economics to offer - but it has been quite some time since then, so who knows - and DEL is still a sought-after airport with over a hundred votes on the forum (even though yes i know votes donāt mean everything)
it also seems like a perfect opportunity for them to do something like they did with MSY (which i mentioned in one of my posts earlier), as it seems the next airport will release around Christmas, and updates then are known for being especially notable (Christmas 2024 had MSY, Christmas 2025 had HKG, and Christmas 2026ā¦ well weāll just have to see lol)
but either way, iāll just wait to see what the next devblog has, all iām saying is that itās looking like the next airport is going to be quite a surprise for us

Yeah, my bad, I only took KTM into account, not KEP, where Summit Air also has a base.

North America isnāt it, so itās KTM, you donāt have to be a genius to figure that out, and it would be good since itās an airport that has a variety of B-class planes that arenāt in the game, and only one clue
Well, Charlie said we were ācoldā for the most of the discussion and only got āwarmerā (as in the hot or cold seeking game) at one point, but then went in a different direction, which to me indicates that KTM isnāt it, since it was discussed at length.
I really think the most likely option is an airport in India, with DEL being quite a strong candidate, since it was previously in developement before running into licensing issues.

Why donāt we wait until this dev blog comes out instead of everyone trying to figure out what the next airport will be, just enjoy what you have. Thereās no need to try figure out, just be exited when you are told :).

Itās fun to do a bit of speculating and philosophizing. If that werenāt intended, the devs wouldnāt be tossing out information that reveals only a fraction of whatās going on behind the scenes!

I canāt be bothered reading through this but has DAC or a Chinese airport been mentioned? Maybe LXA? Or maybe Paro (just for a cool airport)
DAC was mentioned but I feel very unlikely. Thereās not much there really and better airports in the region. No mention of a Chinese airport but I donāt know if any major ones are even in range of the L410 though as you mention, LXA is potential. Itās got more going on than DAC. Paro would be cool tbf, terminal there is unique.

Paro would be amazing, a brilliant place to test out new approaches for planes, like how on departure at some airports in game like ZRH, the plane makes a turn. We could have something similar on approach where the aircraft makes a turn right before landing.

Yeah whe didnt got ams past update. There is the aproach to runway 04 a turn. You follow 36r and above that runway you turn on low altitude to 04. This is for private planes or charters. Biggest that i seen on youtube was an b738 doing that

I think these are the airports in range that could be considered. Based on the fact that the devās fun is principally in making the airports, not in playing them.
I think the most likely would be:
- HYD, architecturally interesting terminal extension, India # 4 airport
- LHE, current terminal has an interesting brick look, but devs could pull a Zurich and model the new terminal expansion (not sure there the plans are accessible enough though)
- BOM, interesting crossed layout, eye-catching terminal, India #2 airport

I think LXA can probably be ruled out as isnāt WoA still not available in the Chinese App Store?
Itās a little hard for me to see a local airline that doesnāt fly outside of Nepal being used to tease an airport in India or other countries, but that might just be a place where my definition of a good teaser being different from other folks.
Iām crossing my fingers itās not DEL but I think itās probably a decent chance it is. Another super hub is just not something I think the game really needs, especially in Asia that has already had BKK and HKG added recently. But I know Iām probably in the minority on that haha.
