I dont see why Fairbanks would be an airport pick it is absolutely tiny!!! Why are w3e going super sized tiny guys
I had this thought as wellā¦ itās why itās more of a sleeper pick for me (and you havenāt even brought up the seaplanes that land at Fairbanks as well in terms of what we are missing). But with Air North, seaplanes, and a variety of really unique airlines I do think it would create for a super unique experience. Weāre also missing a ton of plane types that are common at SXM (especially since it rarely sees anything larger than an A330-series now-a-days), so I could see it with a new plane or 2 being included.
I think Anchorage has a similar issue with the seaplanes, and given that we know a cargo overhaul is coming, itās hard for me to see ANC coming without one or the other. Either of those will come with a bit of heavy lifting for new planes and liveries at the same time we are getting 737s, which feels like a lot, but perhaps their workflows have improved enough for it to be okay. I think itās probably the most likely, as I just canāt see that Vancouver being a fit for the cold hint. Last time I was there in winter I was in shorts half the time. Calgary is a bit on the edge of the zone for me thoughā¦

Thanks for sharing that, it helped me understand your case a lot more with the airport - you do have a good point with the unique airlines bit (Air North actually flew 732s into there from what I saw) - it would be great to get a break from the generally dominant selection of Southwest/United/American/Delta (which even as someone who frequently takes Southwest, I could use a break from having them sometimes 
)
Apparently, thereās also a lot of additional airlines that either serve or have previously served FAI as well, including Condor, Japan Airlines, Frontier, etcā¦
So, with that, I just might try to look again into suggesting FAI later; Iām still thinking what I want to suggest next airport-wise (Iām thinking something like BZN or GDL), but either way and again, thanks for sharing your case about it

I know this is about to be a long post, but I thought Iād share my 2 cents. I would think that the next would be ANC for sure, with the 737s coming and an impending cargo overhaul, but I remember a couple months ago, @ZurichAirways made a post centered around the next airport not being in the U.S, and @charlie replied saying:

So me personally, all Canadian bias aside I really do think the next airport will be in Canada, because of sheerly how many hints have pointed to it, including the hint from earlier today, along with it likely coming with the classic 737s, still a common occurrence in the north. As for which airport in Canada, Iād say its between YVR and YZF(donāt think anyoneās made a feature request for it yet, so I couldnāt find a link to attach). This is because Charlie said that
And from what Iāve seen, those two seem to be the fan favorites(along with a bit of yyc/yul), that keep beight brought up in discussion. That being said, for now I think it would be leaning more towards YVR. I donāt think charlieās hint was a direct shot at the airport itself, but it was alluding to the fact that the airport is situated in a generally cold region. YVR would also open another major door for anc, being one of the other few major airports that can handle seaplanes in north america(although integrating those would be another task on its own. Maybe after the cargo overhaul, if ANC gets added, the two airports could be done at the same time).
The reason Iād say that itās not YZF(for now, at least) is that many of the aircraft types that dominate the airport(ex. Beechcraft 1900, dc3, Dhc7, Douglas C-54) arenāt yet in the game, and with how large the 737 family is, it may be a while before we get them. In addition, YZF is a very small airport, I think even smaller than INN and SXM, and it is mostly filled with B stands. The closest airport in game to it right now is SAN, which is about a 7-8h flight away. That is way to long for any B plane, and even most C planes to fly, making connections difficult and therefore making progression the most painfully slow out of any airport. All in all, I think YZF is way too small of an airport for it to be first in such a massive region like Canada. I do like the idea of the airport though, with its crossing asphalt runways, and itās unique arrivals. Therefore I think it belongs in the same category as Kai Tak. A proposed airport that may eventually come into the game, but only when the conditions are more suitable(more relevant aircraft, more airports in that region, etc.)
Anyways, that why I(unbiasedly) think the next airport will likely be YVR, I know my reasoning could be completely wrong, but I put a lot of effort and research into this, so I hope someone at least had a good read out of it!

So about Charlieās ācoldā clue ā weāve been looking at high latitudes, but some high-altitude areas in mid/low latitudes could fit the temperature hint too. Like up in the Rockies? Not sure if Iām on the right track, but I think itād be a really fun direction to discuss too.
