General Pre-Release Discussion

No. It doesn’t work.
I set it up as follows: all random aircraft are listed. Each destination has its own gate. So all destinations with, for example, PRG are listed one after the other. I marked them all as favorites so I can keep an eye on them.
Without Delivery Manager, nothing happens. But when it’s activated, it also assigns scheduled aircraft to free gates.
If it’s deactivated and I do everything myself, about 50% of the listed aircraft are no longer visible in the bar (because the whole thing is still blocked) and the other 50% are displayed with a (!), even though the gate is blocked. But without me, no one can find their planned gate.

I even reinstalled the game.

Hello everyone,

We have identified an issue with cached packages that did not match the new version 3.3.0. To resolve this, we will publish a fix for Android devices only, which will force a reload of cached packages and replace them with fresh data.

This should solve the issues with simple-colored airplanes and missing items in the game.

We apologize for the inconvenience and wish you happy landings.

I’m sold on the scheduler now. I actually don’t mind the fact we still have to assign them as I’ve now got them all set up to their usual gates and only assign them once free. Going to be great for the USA airports especially with the assigned gates airlines tend to have over there.

Hi both. I’m trying to use the schedule function to assign Heathrow contracts to their actual terminals just like you do, but I haven’t tried actually using it for handling. Can I ask how it works? If I’ve saved the schedule, do I start by activating the Delivery agent? Also, I read you say we need to redo it once the aircraft’s been handled. Does that mean I need to reassign gates every time the handling’s finished? Or are they sort of saved but just require confirming? I’m a bit confused and would really appreciate your help for this.

Hello

dont activate the delivery manger it makes it random. you still have to assign the plane to the gate in a way. but now it will flash up in a blue box the gate you have scheduled it for. It saves you the time of searching through to find the assigned gate if like me you like to keep it realistic. so now i leave planes un assigned until the gate have selected in the scheduler is free. you could even without times assign them so all the US are in at the same time, then later on the far east ones like how it is at LHR in the main.

I have to confirm at SCL too, even though I saved everything in the scheduler. It’s frustrating unfortunately.

It be brilliant if it wasn’t broken.

So it appears I’ve got more then over 100 missing aircraft then I first thought, so won’t be doing Heathrow anymore until it’s fixed. Will carry on with GRU and other airports.

Wondering if they are going to add the stretched -30 variant and/ or the civilian version (L-100) and it’s variants. This should be the final first gen aircraft to get remodelled correct?

Nope there’s the C17

And the B744F

Oh wait yeah, forgot about the C-17, think the devs are already working on that from an earlier preview a few months back.

Edit: Man, my knowledge on the game needs to be improved despite playing this for a long time.

Thank you Devs, so happy to see this, the model looks so good! There are so many potential liveries for the Herc, too , it’s a crime that we only have 5 in game currently
