I’ve been to the regular museum part (not the hangers). It was not quite what I was expecting. I am lucky enough to live about 45 minutes from the Kansas Cosmposphere in Hutchinson, KS, which has the largest collection of Russian spaceflight artifacts outside of Moscow, and the largest combined collection of US and Russian spaceflight artifacts in the world. They also have the Apollo 13 Command Module, and a SR-71 Blackbird. So, I was expecting the Air and Space Museum to be more like that, but I like the Cosmosphere better. I have no idea. They did however do about 80% of the props for the Apollo 13 movie (they have the real command module). Here is what I found on Wikipedia

I totally get this, and if we do get more features relating to military aviation in the game, I hope it’s more of an emphasis with ways military aircraft are used outside of combat and security applications.
Wildfire fighting, disaster relief, search and rescue, meteorology.
These range from the big cargo planes to helicopters to small prop planes (common for Wilderness SAR) to modified / specially designed aircraft for fire fighting and meteorology. The hurricane hunters the US flies would be really cool to see landing at our airports now and again. Perhaps aerial refueling aircraft could also work without too much combat emphasis / implications.

But how would that work in game having other military aircraft? Transport aircraft work fine as it’s basically unloading/loading them then you send them to another airport for Wollars, can’t see that with helicopters or waterbombers, one could be VIP aircraft but when I asked about G-GBNI and others they said no.

I suppose it’ll land and refuel and off again. Or if we get hangers maybe it just goes in there, lurks, then comes out. Very far off in the future though haha. I bet we get all classic jets before anything like that is even thought of.
