General Pre-Release Discussion

I’m guessing we won’t see a ton more until release. We already know all the big content, or at least we think we do, and we have pictures of EVERYTHING coming next update. What more do you want?

I am also excited about the new release. There will be so many great stuff and a beast airport to play around.

Let’s just wait patiently. It should arrive with the love of the Santa

I think I found a video on youtube discussing the exact question I asked.

It seems MD licensed a company/factory on Chinese side to manufacture MD80/90 family and then when MD was merged by Boeing, Boeing discontinued the MD90 product line (and therefore the license). Then one day when Boeing even forgot about the story, the Chinese guys rolled out something very similar to their B717 (which they used to cover the original name MD95 )…

Anyone think they’ll add in any surprises?

I dont think so, at this moment it would be tight even with the content we have to do.

How many total individual 747’s will there be do you think?!

You mean 747 variations? I think this can help you figure it out

No I meant specific liveries of each model so a total number

No idea atm but I’m hoping we get a good amount. I’m betting lots of 747-400 liveries but not sure on the rest. Hope we get a lot of non event ones.

I bet multiple 747 variants will be event locked and most will have mostly events.

I think I might cry

I am afraid that would be the actual case. Probably we will have B743 and B744 family, and several -Fs as normal contracts. But I don’t think a lot of earlier planes like B741 and B742 will be available, probably only a very, very few.

they dont usually make aircraft no longer in service available as normal contracts, and I dont think there are more than a handful, if any, classics still flying commercially today.

Is there any example in Iran?

That’s what I was thinking too, or I could see like Indonesia or central Africa too.

Iran Air still flies a 747-200F and there are a few others around still venturing into Europe and around Africa, Asia and South America. Passengerwise though I think they’re all gone.
