Finally watched that bit, and too me I don’t think Zurich is next but a one day Zurich will happen, but we shall see in the coming months.

hard to belive I understand.Any updates on the remaining 747s and I thought some 737s were being done and has the 330/340 remodel been confirmed?

Remaining 747s will be coming but no information yet though based upon the previous information given before HKG, they’re coming soon. A330/340 remodel has been confirmed with all variants and 737s are coming later this year.

Can we all agree that if another European airport comes out it will be kinda sad relating that no African airport has arrived yet?

Im happy for all the airports that come out but Im not woried because they said they are planning one for this year i believe… might have to check that

Honestly not really because it’s for good reason like Charlie stated earlier in this thread and while I want an African airport as well want I want more is for the game to succeed financially.

Nope. Not sad at all. ZRH looks like an incredibly interesting task to manage just because of runway dynamics, taxi way configuration, and its in an excellent location for player connections. Just judging the airport on its own merits, its a great addition to the game that I can’t wait to experience.

While this differs from last year’s predictions, now that Charlie has explained the process for adding airports, I appreciate the transparency—and I think this approach is good alternative. Judging from recent airport additions, does economic strength on par with BRICs countries typically make them more likely to be selected? Personally speaking, I’m also looking forward to airports in Africa—now that it’s officially called BRICS.

After watching the clip of the video, they mention Europe. Generally, I have no clue, as he said no to Zurich and Geneva, and so I think that maybe they might try somewhere southwest of Europe, like close to Spain or Portugal.
I wouldn’t be mad if they did someplace in Switzerland, as that would be great.
Red dots are current airports, and so maybe they might go to France to complete the circle.
I did forget about Bari XD, it is below Florence, so 5 airports.
It is already confirmed to be Zurich.

Just to put my statement into context using actual data (downloads, utilization, and player spending):
SCL currently performs worse than Kannur**, and as you know, Kannur Airport has been widely discussed regarding its overall reception and performance within the community. Just as example how difficult it is to find the right spot.

And now? Just because many people live in a certain area this doesn’t mean that they are actually wealthy enough to be able to spend money on mobile games. But without money the devs can’t develop the game further. It’s as simple as it’s sad, but this problem isn’t in the hands of the devs.

Now nothing. I wasn’t making a statement any which way. 
Just saying that the (differences in) numbers are so big, it’s bound to have an effect.
( But I don’t have access to Charlie’s database, so for all I know we have only 10 south/east-Asian players amongst us. 
I know, I can’t believe it either. )

I’m curious if you think this is more related to unlock cost than anything else? Given that it was ~ $4 in GP to unlock, does that lower barrier to entry just make it more appealing to players to treat as an IAP than SCL?

I’m UK based and appreciate the variety of airports in the game and think different layouts / plane focuses are important.
There’s good debate about which airport is best on the forum because they are quite different, so I worry that having more European airport(s) reduces some of the excitement about new routes and new liveries and the ‘difference’ .
Whilst any other UK airport being added to the game would interest me (I’ve flown from a few of them!), I’m very glad that there are different airports in places that are being added, and hope there will be many more.
I remember ages ago there was the idea of doing what Prague would be like in 2035 (or later) and this would also be of interest to me! (sorry, I can’t remember the year or app version, but it was a ‘coming soon’ in the app)
