Probably somewhere ![]()
Hopefully monday because they rarely release updates on weekends(also I have a holiday on monday soo
)
So far, there have been 97 updates, which were released on the following days of the week:
Monday: 18
Tuesday: 9
Wednesday: 14
Thursday: 16
Friday: 17
Saturday: 12
Sunday: 11
But to be fair, since 2.0, only 6 have been released on weekends
I imagine we can expect the update at the beginning of next week. ![]()

A note on this: it was compiled by both me and Geo, who is on the other side of the world. So dates are ± 12 hours or so due to time zones. Neither of us is based in Europe.
Itās strange that Apple hasnāt approved the update since Charlie spoke on Discord. Itās very odd, or maybe Apple rejected it. Perhaps itās just my guess; it doesnāt take that long.
Maybe itās already been confirmed and theyāre just waiting for the next business day?
Itās not a hotfix that fixes game-breaking bugs. 3.4.0 has been running great since Christmas, so the bug fixes can wait a few more days. ![]()
Thatās my expectation too. I would guess itās probably soon-ish.
I do want to agree with you on that, Even if the update comes out in Europe it might take its time to reach the other corners of the world. like it could be midnight or 2am when I get it or something.
Hello WoA players! I know that ZRH isnāt out yet, but I have some questions and I want to discuss things about the gameplay and so on
- Question:
Which contracts will we get at the beginning?
So I think, we definitely need 2 B planes and one C at the beginning. I thought about the Peopleās E170 (or E175 idk) and the BAe Systems Swiss. For the C plane, Iām not sure, there are many local airlines (like EasyJet, Swiss, Helvetic, Edelweiss) which operate C planes.
- Question:
Which positions or gate stands will we get at the beginning?
- Question:
How the runways will be used?
To answer those questions is definitely too early. I have answer only for question 3. operating like in real life.
How do the runways work in real life( out of curiosity)
Zurich Airport (ZRH) uses a complex, three-runway system (14/32, 16/34, 10/28) operated under, to Zürich Airport and beyondclouds.ch, a shifting, time-dependent, and noise-sensitive, approach. The layout relies on shifting, time-dependent, and noise-sensitive, approach, mostly featuring morning arrivals from the north, daytime arrivals from the north/east, and evening/weekend, fornoise abatement, this source shows, to the west.
Key Operational Concepts
-
Daytime (Approx. 07:00ā21:00): Primary arrivals land from the north (Runway 14/16), and departures take off to the west (Runway 28) or south/east (Runway 16).
-
Morning (06:00ā07:00): Focuses on arrivals on Runway 34 and departures from 32/34.
-
Evening (21:00ā23:30) & Weekends: Arrivals shift to the east (Runway 28), and departures use Runway 32/34.
-
Weather Influence: Strong winds (specifically easterly āBiseā or strong west wind) can change this, sometimes restricting capacity.
Runway Infrastructure & Layout
-
Runway 14/32: 3,300m (Main landing runway North/South).
-
Runway 16/34: 3,700m (Main departure/arrival runway North/South).
-
Runway 10/28: 2,500m (Mostly used for departures to the West/East).
-
Complexity: The runways intersect, creating a challenging, yet highly efficient, system that separates landing and takeoff traffic.
The system is designed to minimize noise over German territory, resulting in these complex, time-specific configurations. The airport is planning to extend Runway 32 to improve departures for long-haul flights in the evening. source from Google per AI
I wish every airport had this easily accessible on their website for geeks!
ah, maybe they will change the runway directions due this Key Operational Concepts or wind directions⦠interesting and exciting
The Air Greenland and Aircalin are right lookers. Wonder what weāll see new on the regularsā¦
Those are looking amazing holyyy
Thank you devs. This is perfect.
Woooow, love it!!
