Many players get confused about this — and that’s completely understandable.
Let’s explain it in a simple way ![]()
What is a Google Account?
Your Google Account is your main Google login.
You use it for:
- Gmail

- YouTube

- Google Play Store

- Android phone login
Think of it as your main Google identity.
What is Google Play Games?
Google Play Games is the gaming part of your Google Account.
It handles:
- Your gamer nickname
- Your Player ID
- Your achievements
- Game login and cloud save
It is not a separate account .
It is just the gaming profile attached to your Google Account.
How This Works in World of Airports
When you open World of Airports on Android:
- The game connects to Google Play Games
- Play Games uses your Google Account
- Your game progress loads
It works like this:
Google Account
↓
Google Play Games Profile
↓
World of Airports Progress
Can I Have Multiple Play Games Accounts?
No — not under one Google Account.
Each Google Account can have only one Play Games profile.
But…
You can have multiple Google Accounts on one device .
Example:
- Google Account A → Play Games Profile A
- Google Account B → Play Games Profile B
If you switch Google Accounts, you switch Play Games profiles too.
That’s why sometimes the game loads a different Player ID.
Why This Is Important
If the wrong Google Account is selected:
- The game may create a new Player profile
- Your old progress may seem “missing”
- You might see a name like Player123456
Don’t panic — it usually just means the wrong account is active.
Easy Summary
- Google Account = your main Google login
- Play Games = your gaming profile
- One Google Account = one Play Games profile
- Multiple Google Accounts = multiple game profiles
If your progress looks wrong, always check:
Is the correct Google Account selected in Google Play Games?
