:pushpin: Why should this airline be added?
Guyana Airways could be a really interesting flight in the game, as their story is really not everyday/equal to other airlines.

Guyana Airways was the state airline of Guyana. She acted as the South American country’s “flag carrier” for decades.

In the early years, the airline mainly used seaplanes (such as the Ireland Flying Boats and later Grumman Goose) to cover the remote gold mines and settlements in the rough hinterland to reach. In 1955 the airline was bought up and nationalized by the colonial government.

This airline served the destinations of New York (JFK), Miami, Toronto, London as well as various destinations in the Caribbean.

What is much more special about the airline is the fact that they have aircraft from the American manufacturer Boeing, as well as aircraft from the Russian manufacturer Tupolew at the same time. That was still at the time of the Cold War… So an interesting and rare fleet lineup.

Nevertheless, the airline went bankrupt in the late 1990s and also had to fight with technical maintenance congestion and political influence, which ultimately led to collapse.

They then try to continue operations with the Guyana Air 2000 (which was then private), which unfortunately didn’t work either..

Since the successor to the Guyana Airways was the Guyana Air 2000 and I haven’t found any details about it, I took it in here.

If there are any details about the Guyana Air 2000, the paintwork of the Boeing 757-200 and the Airbus A300-600 would have to be postponed will…

Overall, the airline had a turbulent history and it would be really nice to see this forgotten, legendary airline in the game.
