:chart_increasing: Airport Type & Size
Cubaโ€™s main international airport, with one runway (06/24). Important hub for the country, but medium sized; serves 10 million passengers per year (2022) with three passenger terminals and a small cargo terminal.

The airport supports E sized aircraft regularly, both passenger and cargo. It has supported the An-124 in the past, and can support the A380. Some of the regular/combined stands are at least E sized, as well.

:vertical_traffic_light: Why should this airport be added to World of Airports?
It is a hub for Cuabana de Aviacion and Aerogaviota.

It has a central Caribbean location, and would give players a good base to launch routes into North or South America. It would also provide a very good location for using Eastern aircraft, due to Cubaโ€™s recent historical ties. Not only that, but due to American sanctions/various events over the years, the country feels โ€œstuck in the pastโ€ in terms of architecture and vehicles. For that reason, it would provide a very interesting juxtaposition with the generally modern aviation that would be present in game, such as the various ground handling vehicles being of 60s vintage. Albeit, based on pictures, aircraft handling equipment is generally modern, it would still be pretty interesting nonetheless.
