Been waiting for Heathrow impatiently. It’s a 3 star airport now but the daily contracts are disappointing. The daily local contract is always a BA E-170 (which doesn’t exist in reality). The regional daily contract is almost always a skyup 738 or a eurowings A319, and the international one is a joke - almost always a cargo one. What’s wrong with it? Is it just me or is everyone else as frustrated?
It’s just you, buy contracts to make it diverse.
But the daily offers don’t help you at all. They cost exactly the same as if you choose a contract via the world map. I’ve never actually signed a contract about it. I ALWAYS look over the world map. There are a few things that could be improved or are buggy, but that’s the least of our problems.
Actually, the random contracts also give you a 50% discount on wollars, or makes local contracts free so if a contract you want is randomly generated you can accept it. Though the map contacts are still much better as random contracts are limited, only taking an airlines’ contract furthest to the left on the map contract selection.
So I don’t know which game you’re playing, but I don’t see a 50% discount. Yes, local contracts are free, but everything else costs exactly the same as in the world map.
The reason why is because it shows the 50% discount in map contracts.
You can see the same amount here for EasyJet, but if you look at another a319 from the same place the usually costs the same it costs more.
And again with Wizz Air, no normal map contract would say “Accept Contract.”
ohhh that makes sense. But on the subjext of lhr I think therre should be a point where the local contracts is not just BA e-jets and maybe a321’s or a320’s
Oh, I seem to have learnt something today. Sorry.
BUT, in your example PRG to TRZ it is 25,200 Wollars. this results in “only” 25% discount for international contracts.
In your easyjet example it is actually 50% for regional contracts.
Ok I will say sorry now. I didn’t realize regional and international had different discounts. So local is free, regional is 50%, and international is 25%.
I guess they figure in the beginning you need the help, but once you have the international star, money PROBABLY isn’t a big issue anymore.
Only place really would me be the Shuttle service to Manchester and Glasgow N Edinburgh, though last decade some of the manchesters were cancelled so they used a B777 on LHR- MAN
According to FR24, all e jets operate from LCY. LHR is too costly for them. The smallest I’ve seen for BA was an A319
It is, still. Contracts are very expensive, so are the gates.
Yes LCY the main hub for EMB 190 plus they aren’t BA but BA Cityflyer, they also fly out of other UK airports as well.
