Why should this airline be added?
Founded in 2002 as a subsidiary of Cyprus Airways, Hellas Jet began flights from Athens in June 2003 operating as a scheduled carrier. However, by 2005 it suspended scheduled operations due to heavy losses, focussing instead on charter routes. It was sold by Cyprus Airways in 2006, continuing to fly charter flights to Greece but also across Europe. In 2010, the airline ended operations.During the time of scheduled operations, the airline flew to both LHR and ZRH from ATH as well as flights to Manchester, Gatwick, Paris and Brussels, being based at Athens and Heraklion. Would be yet another great addition for Greek aviation contracts to player airports.
