Help me decide please

Hello everyone, please help me make a decision. I have been playing the game for several months and I have managed to get to the Prague airport. I have saved 10 GP and I wanted to know if it is a good idea to buy the San Diego airport or if I continue saving to buy Muscat. Also if you have other ideas I would like to hear them. Thanks in advance

DO NOT BUY SAN, san is one of the worst to grind airports in the game, either play through Prague to get IAD legit or spend GP to get BKK, MCT or LHR

They all have the best flow and best money making potential

I would go for MCT. There are many regional L and X contracts (DOH, DXB, AUH) to get a bunch of SP (don’t forget to convert them to GP). And since last update with dual landing runways, it became a fun airport to play.

Bkk is mathematically the best airport ingame (3 rway landings and good taxi mapping) . San is among the worst. However, in terms of bang for your buck and given the upcoming remodel will hopefully make it the best ingame, I’d buy IAD (4 upcoming runways)

In my opinion don’t unlock SAN and SXM, SAN because of the long grind and 4 L/X stands and SXM because of its terrible airport flow.

What level are you at prg? If intl already, just grind thru to IAD. Else, I’d buy it

I’m level 41 at Prague

SAN is not recommended.
Because using a single runway, 4 L/X stands.
The airport flow is not good.
It takes a lot of time to raise the level.

I recommend you buy LHR using your GP
You can keep collecting GP and buy airports using your GP.
However, It would also be nice to think about completing the level and getting the next airport naturally.
MCT → get LEJ → get SXM.
LHR → get SYD → get BKK.

MCT, LHR they are all great airports where you can get a lot of SP.
However, if you buy LHR, the next airport you get naturally has better and better flow.
This can help keep you interested in the game.

Of course, if you have a lot of GP,
you will be able to buy the airport you want without considering this

I wouldn’t get lhr. It’s a single rway airport for landings, and visually it’s not great. Also it’s terrible to start because locals suck. Mct and bkk are better in every way but handling crew

Hi Fernino, welcome to the forums!

By the time I reached PRG International (3 stars), I was already able to buy the weekly 10GP (10.000 SP) and the daily 1 GP (1.500 SP) as soon as they were available, nonstop. Maybe you just play very little, but it came to my attention that you’ve only been able to save 10GP so far, so if you don’t mind me asking, I mean to help: how have you been spending your gold? Premium passes for INN, BRI and PRG? Or is it your first 10GPs? I just want to make sure you are aware you can buy GP with SP, and that the best use for your first GPs at the game beginning is saving for the premium passes…

As for your question, I’d save for either MCT or BKK.

Hello, unfortunately when I was just starting to play, I wasted my GP buying wollars, and also I wasted them in buying Saint Marteen, that’s why I dont have that many GP.

In SXM, you unlock LHR in level 57. From there SYD and then BKK. So it isn’t that much a waste I think (ok, it takes some time to grind)

I also bought SXM with gold, and I don’t regret it. It’s very slow to grind, but it’s dirty cheap and will get you much faster to LHR. Once you get a major airport and SPs start coming easily, those 4 GPs are the same as 2 days playing, so, no, you didn’t waste it. Using GP to buy wollars isn’t a good choice, tho. If you REALLY want to speed up wollars when starting a new airport and don’t have enough gold for the premium pass, the best way to do so is to not claim fleet airplanes that aren’t specific to the airport (usually from premium passes) and then claim it at the new airport you’re starting and sell it, you’ll get plenty of wollars to start with.

SXM (not SMX) is the single hardest airport in the game to max, and there’s a good argument for it being the worst. After a series of time trials, the average airport takes a MINIMUM of 85-90 hours to max, while SXM is around 135 hours. All of this assumes perfect timing (autoclicker) and a highly optimized strategy. Part of this is that the most efficient way to max SXM is S contracts because of the runway system, which is a nightmare to do.

(Mct is outdated. Should be around 2/3rds of that now that both rways can land)

Should be 135 years, feels more like it there.

I started SXM with the wrong strategy and it was very boring and slow. Then changed strategy to a player fleet of E175 and B738F exclusively and the bigger my fleet got, the faster I leveled up for getting LHR. Key strategy in SXM is S tier planes.

To be clear, players who played 2.0 at release probably got SXM for free, I been playing SXM for over a year and still haven’t maxed out.

I’m only level 33 :sob:
Already 22 on IAD and it’s only been 2 weeks or so.

I must be the only one who loved SXM since the beginning, and had it as the most played airport for a (very) long while. I mean, INN is cool and all, but those 5 handlers killed it for me :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

In short, what I did in SXM was buying ALL AT76 and SF34 available in the map (and MIA’s CRJ9), than had a ton of fun zoomed in handling all that mess manually. In no other map you can hear and see all those turboprops so clearly, as the whole airport fits in your screen!
