22gp
alright, 22gp isnt bad, TIME TO GRIND!
sigh
If you have some spare silver, purchase the locals for 100 sp and rack up a good few. Sell any spare aircraft you have too.
what? the wording is confusing
local contracts. Once you take your first you can use spare silver you have to purchase more 100 at a time. Also, any spare owned aircraft you have sitting in the hanger waiting to be assigned, sell it for buying stands.
ohhh, at HKG… one issue, i dont have it yet so im going to grind at IAD when i have time. ![]()
I agree they are incredible the rewards
Yeah it’s an issue for basically every airport outside of the first 3 especially the newer
ones like syd and bkk and now hkg
how many CX local heavy’s are there?
I have to say my first impressions of this airport are quite positive. Very nice flow which is important to me, especially as someone who mostly does player to player contracts. I really like the dedicated D stands for cargo especially. I love my A306Fs and MD11Fs!
18 from my count, 7 in China, 5 in Japan, 3 in SK, 1 each in Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore
That’s pretty good
Yeah it is, especially when you factor in the other airlines as well, like Air Hong Kong and Hong Kong Airlines, there are a lot more of those to add on to that
I’m either dumb or something but I can’t find HKG!
Nvm… I just need to update ![]()
Any tips on optimizing the runaways usage, like what stands or terminals to unlock for best efficiency?
I cant realy understand why widebodies on shorter routes only seems to be an issue with the homeairlines (here CX), there are widebodies i.e. from singapore airlines, korean… why not from cathay???
Another strange thing is, you can choose a cathay A330 from nagoya to hk, but now not from hk to nagoya!?!?!?!
It’s been an issue in every airport since the dawn of WOA. Fortunately the devs are aware of this and working on a workaround but it’s been over a year since they’ve said that so not sure that they’ve found a solution
I think it’s the way the coding is set up. “Local” passenger contracts can never have D/E/F size planes. So, because Cathay Pacific is a “Local” airline, all of the D/E/F size planes do not populate as possibilities until International contracts come into play. It makes sense given MOST airports and airlines do not operate wide bodies on short routes. But this airport is an exception, and Cathay uses wide bodies on even the shortest route to CAN, which is less than 100 miles away. In Europe and the US, this rarely happens (outside of a few select hub-hub routes), but in Asia (such as with BKK) it happens quite frequently and makes play a little less than realistic.
