Thinking of Bangkok. We can get every CX widebody at BKK from HKG but can’t get them the other way around?

we can contract local UPS Asia B748F in SIN
I know it’s always been known that the local airline of the airport won’t have Local Widebody contracts on short flights, it’s the same with LEJ for example with DHL

Welp, just woke up and saw HKG is out. I’m happy, buuuuuuuut I still have 31 Levels of SCL to do

Does anyone know the runway usage per terminal/stands for both takeoff and landing?
The airport itself looks beautiful, but definitely disappointed that so far from what I’ve unlocked that only one runway is used. Also disappointed that wide bodies aren’t available for Cathay for local routes, something that is heavily used in real life. Hope this can be addressed, even if those contracts for wide bodies need to be regional

Well simple.solution is unlock more? Cargo uses the south runway for both. Main terminal use centre for landing and south for departures. North runway will be landing runway which is exactly how it is now.
You do have to have some strategy to the game.
Agree on the Cathay widebodies. I wouldn’t mind them being regional even for short routes

Simple solution is easier said than done. I spent my resources unlocking the main terminal and several stands there, so until I get more I suppose I have locked myself out of any second runway use. Maybe I should have waited to see the traffic patterns posted here or on discord

Yeah I’ve only unlocked a few more of the initial remote stands, then one of the little piers off the main terminal. Those ones definitely use the south for departures
I’m aware. BKK was the same way. But the short wide body routes are such a vital aspect of realism at this airport, I was hoping they would figure out how to do that. I honestly expected Cathay to be a regional airline from the start, with HK Express, Hong Kong Airlines and Greater Bay to be the local options.

I can’t see HKG!
Honestly the only solution I can think of is making widebodies on short routes available as international contracts.
I do understand having them as local will be a bit of an unfair advantage in the game and would make it too easy to level up

Just looked through the rewarded contracts for HKG that you get in the pass. I know most people don’t care that much about them, but personally one of my favorite things in this game is the contracts you get in the passes, and having done the real routes guide for HKG, YOU GUYS NAILED IT ON THE REWARDED CONTRACTS, FANTASTIC JOB. Not only did we get dozens of real routes as rewarded contracts, BUT 5 SPECIAL LIVERIES TOO?!?!?!?! Just for that I’m gonna go buy HKG right now.
