I deem T1 mid concourse as a part of T1 so HKG only has 1 terminal now.
Many Hong Kong Airlines flights also depart from the north satellite (the small building next to T1 main you can see on satellite image), mostly their narrowbody flights I think.
The talk about moving out is set on the conditions that 2 phases of T2 are all complete (in a distant future but would be earlier than some other projects like LHR 3rd runway) and multiple rumors/inside information in the industry indicate that Cathay Pacific will occupy the Terminal 1 along with its subsidiaries and probably all its partners, while other carriers, like Hong Kong Airlines (mentioned that they may need to set up a new lounge in T2), and some airlines also mentioned (like Emirates, Air China) to be moved to T2.
I think I am talking about a very likely scenario in the distant future (rather than the reality) and this is what the game will be based on, so…
Yes, I agree with you regarding the scenario after T2 opens. But just to clarify, I’ve been checking the arrival boards for Hong Kong Airlines through HKIA official website, and I haven’t seen any of them arriving or departing at the North Satellite (Gate 13-21). Nearly all of them departed or arrived at the midfield concourse. So I think the statement “many of their flights depart from the north satellite” might be incorrect, or am I wrong? I traveled to HKG before for times and I did see Hong Kong Airlines narrowbodies depart from the north satellite. So that was from my experience rather than checking the recent data. You might be right since they could change the gates assignment at any time.
Guide has been updated with all current ‘impossible’ contracts in-game. Deleted the list of stands because they are no longer needed, added a few other forgotten IRL routes.
