Founded in 2001, InterSky was an Austrian regional low-cost airline that operated scheduled passenger flights primarily from its base at Friedrichshafen Airport in southern Germany, serving regional European destinations with a fleet of turboprop aircraft like the ATRs & DH8Cs.In November 2015, after facing ongoing financial losses since September which led to the sale of InterSky to a German airline which collapsed after Austrian aviation authorities demanded proof of financial security before November 5, InterSky filed for bankruptcy, with approximately €5 million in debts, including outstanding airport charges.
