This airline should be considered in the game, as Istanbul Airlines was a Turkish-based airlines founded in 1985 by private investors in Istanbul, and commencing operations in 1986 with an initial fleet of S210s & BA11s. In the 1990s, Istanbul Airlines became one of Türkiye’s leading charter airlines, modernizing its fleet with B727s, B737s & B757s. Following the deregulation of Turkish air traffic, Istanbul Airlines began scheduled domestic flights in February 1996, although charter services remained it’s primary focus. In 2000, Istanbul Airlines were facing the 2000 economic crisis which severely impacted its operations, ultimately leading to the airline ceasing flights and shutting down.
