Why should this airport be added to World of Airports?
Small Channel Island airport, could make for a fun small generic airport with some unusual local airlines. Would also be a good introduction for FlyBe’s Q400s which are missing from the game atm.
Major Airlines & Routes
Blue Islands is the major local operator with Aurigny rocking up from time to time as it is based in nearby Guernsey. British Airways operates routes to both LHR and LGW as well as seasonal routes to destinations in Spain and Portugal. easyJet and Jet2 are also both regular visitors. FlyBe used to have a massive presence at the airport and would make a good local too.2017,

Unique Features or Challenges
Small runway limiting aircraft size to C class, with 757s being allowed to land but being relegated to remote stands. It can take A321s with no real issue except for big payloads but 757s do need to be lighter on load so any potential transatlantic ops may have to do a stop on the way for fuel, has previously taken BA tristars though. The RAF has also flown their C17s in and out for crew practice so in theory it can take them too, though likely without a cargo load.Very pretty island and aircraft take off an land over the sea.
