Reposting as this is not a feature request, but still seems like a quick fix with big impact
Aircraft with leading edge lift devices (e.g., slats, the 747-8s great kruger flaps) have these only extended during landing. Since they are animated surfaces to begin with, it seems it could be easy to have extended right after pushback.
This would match real world configurations and operations - seeing the 747 take off with a clean leading edge is a bit off.
