I just think it’s a shame that at all airports, planes always land and take off in the same direction. It would be nice if planes could land and take off from all directions of the runway, and especially if there are multiple runways, all runways could be used by the planes. At Hertrow, one runway is used for landing and the other for takeoff! In reality, planes take off and land on both runways. Hopefully now with HKG arrived and looking very good LHR and it’s surrounding area could get a visual revamp(not an entire remodel, just a little “glow up”). And while we’re at it, may as well give it hsbc logos shared stands and triple jetways. I believe now is a good time because hkg has proved that a large airport could look as visually appealing as a small one without making devices explode.
