LHR - Dual runway arrivals

Let’s hope it works out for TAROM, as a Romanian carrier started at Gatwick before moving too Luton.

LHR and IAD having this would be game changing. IAD has the technology for triple arrivals but lets not get there :sob:

As someone who is local to IAD and knows a lot about operations, runway 30, and sometimes 1C for takeoffs, and 1R, then 1C a little less frequently, then 1L even less frequently, for landings is most common. Sometimes I’ll see the current arrangement plus 19R for landings. But in all but that arrangement 30 is used for takeoff, and rarely other runways are used [for takeoff].

Woah, that’s pretty sweet. Wish I knew about that sooner. Hopefully that will be introduced at other current and future 2+ runway airports

Would peoples devices be able to cope with the extra demands though?

I think they mean maybe having to of the same routes. So it would just be the same as any other route.

I mean if the device can run LEJ I’d hope it’s possible
