:airplane_departure: Aircraft Types Used (from those available in WoA)
A318 (A318-100) (3 operated) (Served 2009-2011),

A319 (A319-100) (6 operated) (Served 2014-2016 for LAN and until now for LATAM),

Bit dirty this one,

LATAM colours (The only aircraft type currently operated by the LATAM Ecuador, no visual difference to LATAM normal A319),

LATAM Oneworld,

Ecuadorian Soccer team livery May 2021-2022,

Worn from Oct 2023,

Copa America sticker (Worn by CPQ & CPJ in 2014/15, could make for a good different livery to differentiate from normal LAN),

LATAM Ecuadorian flag colours,

A320 (A320-200) (6 operated) (Served 2011-2014),

LAN Oneworld (Both photos at SCL),

B763 (767-300) (6 operated) (Served 2008-2012) (With and without winglets),

:pushpin: Why should this airline be added?
Founded in 2003 as LAN Ecuador, to compete with TAME and AeroGal, this airline operated with LAN aircraft up until the arrival of the first 767-300 in Ecuadorian registration, quickly followed by several more in early 2009 along with 3 A318s to conduct flights from Quito domestically and regionally within South America. The airline became LATAM Ecuador in 2016 when LAN and TAM merged their operations and still flies today with 4 A319s, which flew for the airline in LAN colours from 2014. It would be a great addition as it would require little work with only the flag being required to be changed, and would give Ecuador another airline for players to operate into their airports, especially SCL where the airline flew throughout its tenure including til today.

Well, not to be rude, but bringing Latam Ecuador to the game isn’t really necessary, although it might be a good suggestion. I’ll say the same thing I said when Avianca Ecuador was suggested in another thread. It’s not necessary to have that subsidiary in the game since Latam Chile is already in the game, departing from the non-playable airports of Quito (UIO) and Guayaquil (GYE). Contracts for these flights can be obtained from most airports, except for Inn and BKK. This is because, in the case of Latam and Avianca, the subsidiary names aren’t taken into account. For example, you can get Avianca flights from Guatemala and Costa Rica; the subsidiary name isn’t used, only the airline name. However, in the case of Latam’s Chilean subsidiary, it works for Ecuador, Peru, and Chile, although Colombia is missing, and the Brazilian subsidiary is only used to obtain contracts from Brazil.

I agree as in the airline itself doesn’t need to be brought in as a complete new entity,as a lot of this airline is in-game such as LATAM’s A319 and LAN’s A318 which regarding the LATAM livery has no visual difference to LATAM normal which is why they switch them about so regularly between the different airlines (When I was making this post a LATAM Peru aircraft was doing the GYE to UIO flight for Ecuador). My thoughts are that it would be good to split up the bits of LATAM and Avianca as well as the likes of TUI to better display what is really available in the country and so if you purchase a LAN flight from say Quito at SCL, it has the Ecuadorian callsign and IATA/ICAO used. I don’t believe it would be much work due to the liveries being essentially the same, and I doubt we’d see a new livery with only the flag changed, but it would provide a little more flavour to ops.
