Linz Airport is the fifth largest airport in Austria by passenger numbers after Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck and Graz.
Since 1978, it is also after Vienna Airport the biggest Cargo Hub in Austria.
Due to the covid pandemic, several tons of pcr test sets were carried out for Austria and Germany in spring 2021. Airbus A330, Airbus A340, An-124 Ruslan and Antonov AN-225, Boeing 747 and Boeing 767 aircraft were used for this purpose.
