Loss of all game progress data after update

My son today installed the requested update - and lost all progress data, airports,even those we had paid to unlock?!? Through LHR INN BARI PRAGUE NAGOYA etc?? He is super upset!! Can anyone advise how he can get them back?!? Admins his player ID is BWGNZWtXZWSFXl740oJ1

Only thing I can think of is the account isn’t linked to game center or play games, so just tap the sync logo on the main screen. A screenshot of it could help try and identify another problem.

Correct, that’s usually the issue (Game Center connection). Devs maybe able to assist if it’s something else

My first recommendation is absolutely to try relinking your account. Below the woapedia button on the Home Screen, there is a button that is your Game Center account. You can then relink the account by pressing that

Thanks we tried this but it says there is no profile to link… We didn’t realise we had to have something setup to save the game data we assumed it just lived in the app against our user profile

Yea I thought it did. When I updated it was fine. Maybe you had a bug which didn’t save anything. Sorry that happened.

Hi can anyone help on this - it’s just happened again!!? My son has updated the app and just lost over a year of progress, all the work he had done never mind the money we had spent on golden airplanes etc. he’s in bits and I have no idea how the game/app can allow this to happens it’s just wiped everything and created a totally new player ID?? Simply by pressing update??

Sounds like it disconnected from the Game Center store. Others were having this issue earlier and the answer was keep trying and it will connect back up again

Omg i fixed it! If you have android, download “GOOGLE PLAY GAMES” and after its downloaded, press & hold the airports app and you’ll see something to select your google account.. then you click the + next to player383638r9r9t8e button and switch account
