Why should this airline be added?
Moldavian Airlines was founded in 1994, operating a small fleet of Tupolev’s and Yak’s until it acquired its first Saab 340 in 1998. The airline’s Saab 304’s took it into the 2000’s where it then acquired its first Saab 2000 in 2003 plus another in 2004 before taking delivery of the airline’s first and only Fokker 100 in December 2005. The Saab 340’s were retired by July 2006 with the airline continuing flying until 2014 when the Fokker was sold to Carpatair during Moldavian’s collapse, the 2 Saab’s having left the fleet the year before.It should be added to provide Moldova another airline option plus more liveries for the Fokker 100 and Saab 340, as well as one for the Saab 2000 when it comes.
