:pushpin: Why should this airline be added?
Midway Airlines was founded from the remains of Midway Airlines (1976-1991), based at Raleigh-Durham in 1993. It set up a second base at Chicago Midway shortly after and initially began just flying Fokker 100s across the East Coast and between their 2 hubs. In 1996 the airline added A320s to its roster for flights to the Caribbean, followed by CRJ200s in 1997 for smaller routes and then by 737s in 1999 to replace the Fokker 100s which were proving maintenance heavy. In 2001 due to Southwest moving into RDU and the slump of 2000, the airline filed for bankruptcy in August 2001. It continued flying but due to the 9/11 attacks, the airline struggled and folded completely on September 12th. It received a government infusion of $12.5 million and relaunched ops in December 2001 but again folded in mid-2002, ridding itself of its 737s and just leaving their CRJ’s, they relaunched in early 2003 running flights for US Airways Express from RDU and Washington Ronald Reagen, however, they again collapsed in October that year and this was the final time.

It would be a great one to see, having a fleet of aircraft all of which are currently available in-game, or are coming soon. They had a cool livery and a unique fleet setup for North America with Fokkers hard to come by.
