Just a question based on curiosity.
Does anyone play the mini games?
Ive only tried once or twice and the reward is not much.
Possibly all the data from these could be better spent elsewhere in the game?
Just a question as possibly alot of players enjoy these.
The parking mini-game is always a great source of much-needed XP when playing a new airport. It’s quick and easy to get 100%.
For early game, you will not be very busy with arrivals and I suppose it is a good idea to play that considering it comes with some XP.
For late game, I would say no, it would be hard to manage the airport efficiently if you play minigames.
I’d like to take a survey to see how often mini games are played.
Like the others I play the Parking game when starting a new Airport, but then not so much later on.
I do enjoy landing the Saab at INN, for some reason it’s very fun, more so than landing any of the X at IAD.
Another question: How often do you use the Ramp Agent ?
I use Ramp Agents on other player S size airplanes when handling a large load at any airport. It allows me time to handle all the M,L,X without worrying about any of the S planes getting delayed. Those little guys are so easy to forget. I’m not a fan of only 10 Ramp Agents available, mostly at PRG where you get a lot of players S planes from INN and BRI.
I play the parking mini-games pretty much randomly when I’m feeling like it, usually when it’s slow going or there’s a cool plane (2nd or 3rd gen model) that I wanna park. I’ll always land my player planes if I can just for fun, but I don’t ever have many since I play realistically. The de-icing game I find frustrating so I don’t really play it, even after they fixed it. As for ramp agent… 100% of the time always and forever. I can’t be bothered to click each process for the plane, and I don’t wanna risk a late process.
Oh and as a side note, even though I still like to play them, it’s frustrating that many very high end Ls and most Xs don’t park well because we can’t turn them wide enough.
I play the landing game a lot.I sometimes also plag parking(of course, when another aircraft doesn’t request maintenance.)
Wait … what ? There’s a limit on Ramp Agents !!! I’m (nearly) certain I’ve used more than 10 at a time at PRG. I though ramp agents were part of the Handling Crew.
I took a 2 year hiatus from the game, just returned last month,
Where and how does one play the de-icing game ?
It’s only if it’s below 32°F/0°C in real life at that airport, and then every plane after they are done on the ground will need deicing before pushing back. So like it’ll never happen at SXM or SAN, but IAD and the European airports it’s all the time.
I will explain it to you this way: the automatic driving ramp agent is deducted from the agents we have on the list at all airports, for example if you have 100 at an airport you will be will deduct from those 100 that will make those 100 agents that you have decrease to 99 and so on, I know that because I have been playing for a long time so if you have limited ramp agents you I recommend that you do not use the automatic ramp agent as it will be deducted from all the agents you have available and if you need it, try not to land too many planes at once.
I ran out of Ramp Agents only a couple of times but I’m pretty sure you only get 10. I never use them on anything larger than S size.
Wait, I meant the Ramp Agents assigned to supervise the Aircraft handlers to automatically handle all aspects of aircraft service. Not the Gate Handlers, my bad for the confusion.
You definitely don’t have a limit for agents… just limited to how many handlers you can spare. I’ve had 15-20+ planes being handled at once and all with their own agents automating the work.
No limit, I was handling around 75 NXs simultaneously earlier at LHR with agents for all
Always using the Ramp agents on all planes whatsoever.
I played it for fun now, but some airport forced you to play Parking Mini games, as for Landing Mini games you can skip them.
I do all of them
