Model aircraft (Sharepoint)

Imagine a video where someone cleans or repaint the aircraft model from the ground up.

I use to do them before I deleted them all, went to irl videos and then went to onboard videos only. Filming flights is so much more interesting than standing on a mound at MAN or some diecast models you can take photos of.

Yea I prefer spotting too. It’s just sometimes it’s nice to lay them out and make up routes

Wait you both have channels?

I do. Not sure if he deleted his or not tho

Just had a great idea.
What if i moved the 2 tables together.

Its now much bigger. Ik theres a crack but ill cover it up with a terminal in some places and modelling grass.

Can kinda display these now.
Ok about the display of the virgin 340. Its too big :joy:. So i had to do without it.

Im only working on sorting my room out today. I dont even have the modelling grass yet.
Whats my best bet for colour?

Depends what country and season you are going for, if you are going for UK summer I would go withered yellow.

Ok thanks! So this it is:

Yea it’s going to be based on the south terminal at lgw. It will probably take a year tho :joy:. Not sure where yet tho.

Flying from south terminal on Friday, let me know if you need any reference photos

Zakynthos as flight number BY5526, won’t go much further as this is the model sharepoint.

Got the ring design done.

Ik the aircraft make it look scrappy its just because they are all different scales :joy:. When i get enough 1/400 aircraft to fill it up it will look much better.

I’m going to be that person here, but ideally you need to put a sheet of wood ontop of the 2 tables. 1/400 models will have their landing gear in the gap, and you don’t want to risk damaging them. Plus you’ll get a better result on the wood, and can easily be moved off if you want to relocate it in future.
