Model Aircraft (Sharepoint)

Thank you! I think the production of this model would’ve been somewhere around 2003

AV400 are my go-to for 1/400 airplane models. I bought this A340-300 ‘Shepard One’ back and the B777-300ER back in 2021 and 2023 respectively.

Unfortunately I’ve got this photo left, thought it’d be nice to share mine as well.

Whilst the NG 767 might not be the best one out there, I can certainly look past it for these, as I can’t see anyone else doing them anytime soon…

Come on NG, rerelease the 757 and give us an A320 and A321, make up for the massive let downs you’ve been releasing lately…

If Aircraft Model Store issues my refund I will have to get it along with that Lufty A346 farewell plane in 1:200. One day I’ll have these at a Canary Island airport in-game…:folded_hands:

If not in game, you could always make a model airport. Shelf Canaria awaits…

Problem with UK ebay is those models are in such high demand haha. Wonder if they’re cheaper on Yahoo.jp…

Right, back with a second idea for what I could do with the bit of wood I’ve got, beneath is a picture of the Gatwick South Terminal Pier 2 that I could recreate, it’s about the perfect size and would have a variety of long haul, short haul, and different airlines. Plus AMS have 2 different reg easyJet A320Neos available and an A319, that would bring my easyJet collection up to 4 aircraft, which is about right for this size segment.

wanna see how far you’ll go with this. If possible, update us with pics

Sounds like an interesting plan, do you intend on making it modular so to speak and do other sections of the airport in the future so they can all be put together?

On the topic of 1/400 easyJet models, it’s a shame most of them are on the JC/Gemini mould, I ordered the Neo livery A320neo off ARD the other day, rather annoyingly they were giving out 10% codes the next day… :joy:

With NG seemingly starting to listen about moulds being underused and the lack of variety as of late, and all these easyJet’s (a model on a slightly odd mould is better than none at all in my eyes) that seem to be surfacing randomly, things are starting to look up for us European collectors.

Yeah that’s the downside, especially with the 319, with the Neos it’s not as bad.

Haven’t really thought of that, would be cool but probably at least not in the next couple years as I might be moving to the US or be staying in the UK, so if it’s just 1 board it’d be easier to move.

Yeah, I’m more likely going to get a Neo than a Ceo, although general rule I have is if someone else make a better one then I’ll replace it in the future. Then there’s also the debate of will anyone else make a better model any time soon, so having it is better than not sometimes.

Like these NG First Choice 767s, I’m not a massive fan of their mould although having one in person might make me see it in a different light, as well as factoring in how unlikely it is for anyone else to make them, let alone a pair of them.
