I would want to go there, od it ever happens in Warsaw. I’m planning to make a model airport, but I don’t have models in this size.

It’s been a while since I’ve done anything model airport related, but that changes today. Originally, I planned to make a whole new custom airport to replace my Canadian airport. However, I never intended to get rid of the original so early on as I thought the AMS mats layout was brilliant for an airport in the region.
After using some store credit to preorder some recently announced models, I had enough points to get a discount on the foldable mat, which has now become my new (most likely permanent) Canarian airport. The flexibility of being able to take it up when I need to, and it more than likely costing less than buying all the materials needed to make an airport from scratch were big factors in making me go back to a mat based airport.
I know it’s not fully realistic, but I do want to eventually make some surrounding scenery to pair with it, make it a bit more interesting. I also know the tower isn’t supposed to be a completely airside structure, so let’s assume there’s an underground tunnel connecting it to a separate landside operations building… 
I do intend on sharing more in the future like I use to, as I can do some interesting line ups with new models that I’ve not yet got much use from, or ones I have on order, alongside my other much smaller airport that’s just off to the side in need of a good clean up.

Managed to finishing setting up the first display of the new airport, also had chance to play around with different vantage points and angles I can get so thought I’d share some here.

Where’s your easyjet A320 NEO from? Been looking for something like that but all I can find is the panda models A321 NEO (which I’m unsure of the quality of the mould).

I’ve got 2 A320neos that were made for ARD and 1 that was made for AMS. There is one that was made for both as well, just different boxes depending on who you get it off.
I do have one of the original Panda easyJet A321neos and the more recent ARD exclusive from last year, it’s a great mould, but like most 1/400 A320 moulds there’s some room for improvements.

400 scale aircraft, 500 scale GSE except for those catering trucks and gates
nice little foam board and gel pens. took me like 10 mins just to do it. simple yet good
