Malaysia-Singapore Airlines had previously operated 2 Boeing 737-200s in their fleet, with this aircraft entering service as early as June 1971 and operating to destinations in Asia up until September 1972, when Malaysia-Singapore Airlines ceased operations, with all of the Boeing 737-200s being transferred to Malaysian Air Systems.
