There normally aren’t many liveries released with an aircraft initially. They may appear later today seeing as the others are finally ready.
Said it before , will say it again, it’s usually 1-2 weeks after the bug fix item appears. That appeared last week, so the earliest it would be is this week, but given it’s a new airport, 50+ destinations, 3 new types and associated other liveries would not surprise me if it was pushed back to next week. Bit right now I’m sticking to late this week
I requested winglets options before and their response was
“Thank you for your request and we will discuss it later with the team but we are implementing something similar to the game”
That “something similar” was the new engine option
The E170/5 will probably come with the basic livery and that’s it. seeing that the AT46 only came with the basic livery we could the expect the same thing happening again.
Devs have a lot to do so I wouldn’t blame them for not adding more player liveries for the E170/5.
It’s been suggested numerous times on the forum. I can’t say we ever got a response.
What about airline liveries like American and Air Baltic type liveries
We could expect at least one of them to come but as I said before devs are working on hard on the upcoming update so probably in the future we could see more E170/5 liveries.
There’s a delicate balance to be had. I guarantee once MCT comes out, the first question out of many people will be. When’s the next airport coming? To which the answer is probably December. But I digress. They are running an update around every 1-2 months, each one is adding gameplay of varying degrees, so they are still in build mode. When you are in build mode, maintenance mode takes a back seat. I.e. creating all the liveries needed for the various types already in the game. We know this is a long held request. All aircraft to have the same available liveries, for consistency, names on aircraft, correct engines on aircraft.
When you are in build mode, the goal is simple, get to the next item, they have a roadmap of that i am sure, (doesn’t stop twists and turns along the way mind you), so they are working to the roadmap. SAN was a twist, the original plan was MSY and that might still show up down the road, but MCT was always an OG airport for example. They’ve had pretty much every suggestion possible thrown at them either via email or feedback pages or messages. I know for a fact they have access to lists of every possible operator of many types in the game and not added yet. It all comes down to priority and time.
It’s a small team, although with the number of new aircraft coming through, I think they are getting help from somewhere to support it, I know each livery (player or generic) takes hours to get just right, airports take months and you have to prioritize, then it comes down to money. What gives you the biggest return for your buck? New Airport, sure… need lots of W’s to open, expand etc. etc, oh look, shiny gold things :)…New aircraft types… oh look, shiny gold things…Engine type issue… hmmmm… not so much shiny gold things.
Look, I’m not knocking anybody here, at the end of the day, we have a common love of aviation and want it to be as accurate as possible, all I am saying is, you aren’t being ignored, it’s just a question of what makes sense as a priority to them as developers and the ability to code it and make it work, oh and fund it… it ain’t cheap, that’s for sure.
Personally as a mod, I do keep a close eye on people posting ideas here and if they make sense, I often throw them over the fence to “add to the list”. So keep them coming. they may not make it immediately, but they are taken into consideration, just depends on how they fit in with the roadmap and the ability to code it all out.
Whether it’s this week or next week, i suspect that once MCT arrives, we are going to be very busy players, because, hell, i need a break from work… it’s killing me right now,
I can understand this, and we all have reasons we want MCT, me personally, I am going on a yearly road trip to Oregon, around a 13 hour trip, I’m gonna need something to do, as I don’t drive, and it’s a family trip, but I believe others have reasons, and some of us love to see new things, just because they are new, and with your help a lot of things we want to see may be added (Austrian dash 8 for example) and updates on progress from @DankMCD, I think I speak for the entire community saying thanks for keeping us updated.
TLTR too long to read
won’t be too far behind you. Mrs Carlsberg and I are off to Oregon in mid-July to visit friends. will be my first post covid trip on a plane for which i am very excited about.
I’m puzzled as to why Oman Air is a livery for the E-170 considering it was already on the E-175. Oman Air have never operated the 170 as far as I’m aware.
That Egypt Air looks awesome! Would work well for INN/PRG/BRI as well.
Have any prices for the new aircraft been hinted anywhere?
Makes me wonder if fuji dream and j air will get their 170-175
I look it up and looks like it will be roughly 41k for the E170 and 46-47k for the E175

Just some estimates if the devs decided to refer with real life pricing
The BAe146 is 44k. I would have though the ERJ-170 about 34k and the ERJ-175 around 36k.
Will the E170 be an S-tier or M-tier plane?
S-plane both
They are actually smaller than the Dash 8 Q400 in length and wingspan
