My thoughts after playing WOA 2.0 for 2 days

I don’t know but I suppose the distance is not enough?

Does anyone know where the photos are saved to when using the plane spotting feature?

Sorry bro. But I think you are taking things personally. I don’t care what you think but yes that warning was missing. Not every player will go to Forums to check what tips they have posted.

I won’t. Specially since there was no update from Devs after Leipzig. Not even a peep for more than a year. So I let go forums as there was no productive discussion happening.

And even if you don’t admit, I don’t care, those aircrafts on runway are way slow. There is no difference between animation of taxi aircraft and landing or taking off aircraft.

And yes, that auto landing and takeoff, like it was in previous version, is required. If anyone says other wise is just jostling the Devs, that is all.

And by the way have you tried playing the game after the update? If you would have you would know, by the time 5 aircrafts land, most your aircrafts are done and ready for take off at the exit.

And yes, if above statements are little aggressive, they are meant to be.

Not really. Just making sure people aren’t buying in to nonsense.

It’s not what I think, it’s an easily proveable fact. If you’re not going to check the forums, where do you expect to get a warning? Handed to you on a silver platter? That’s where all information regarding the update has been posted. If you refuse to check it, that’s not anyone else’s fault.

Incorrect. We were given weekly updates over the course of the year. Some weren’t specific, as to not reveal information that wasn’t finalized.

Also incorrect. I work at an airport homie, I’ve seen nearly every type we have in the game in real life. You’re not gonna win that one. If you genuinely believe the speeds are the same, I really don’t know what to tell you.

It’s already been announced, so why are you complaining?

Of course I have, quite a bit. I’m not sure what you’re talking about, because that doesn’t happen. Aircraft stay on the ground significantly longer than in the previous version, even with max handling crew applied, so the situation you’re describing is highly unlikely.

Why? How would you feel if you spent the last year and a half working nonstop, from nights to weekends, only to be told that your update was trash? Do you think being aggressive is going to get you anywhere?

Regardless, this is a free game, with devs that actually listen to the community. If you don’t appreciate that, you don’t have to play.

I have been talking about shit happening at MCT for long but I was the only one.
Heres what I think again:
1- The airport is too slow even before the update and like you mentioned the planes refuse to use the rapid exits.
2- It has ALMOST as many large stands as IAD but yet the amount of workers is less than half.
3- Planes have been landing at one runway only and now after the update the use the same runway to take off too. And someone gave me shit saying its closer to the stand so they take off from the same runway. Well then they better make landings possible on the other runway which is much closer to one side of the new terminal and then the aircrafts will spend much less time going around the terminal to get to their gate.
And I have my largest fleet at MCT…so i hope you understand my frustration.

it’s not a MCT problem which I still think is operating fastest runways it’s a general and annoying problem on all airports in WoA

Hello! Sure there are features that one likes, the other one not. What I really want to note: the new software has been tested thoroughly, hard to find any more than minor bug! That’s great! I wish the software my team deploys would be that good!
The only change I really dislike are the total unrealistic reduced flight times. Many routes would require a mach3 airplane to be that fast :frowning: it’s not only unrealistic it also causes repeatedly flooding with the same planes. They return that fast that you can’t handle much other planes in between.

My biggest suggestion is to reduce the number of “clicks” or time to do one task. For example, I love the gate agent but the extra button to confirm seems unnecessary. While one extra “click” doesn’t seem like anything, but from a usability stand point when you do this over and over, it becomes more of a burden.

Another area I see an extra click is after a plane is handles and you have to click Claim Rewards twice before you can move to the next step. I think clicking claim rewards to force the pop-up appear, is an area where the popup should be integrated into another step.

Lastly, I love the ability to filter the different types of planes and their statuses, especially just the ones that need action taken. My only issue is that I have to click to filter on those planes every time, causing extra clicks. The filter chosen should stay on until I change to another filter. So if I only want to see planes that need action, the filter should stay active even if there are no planes that need action at that time.

These unnecessary extra clicks are the only thing that is really causing a less than ideal experience.

I think the new contract system is good, since you get better rewards encouraging you to continue the contract.

A new thing that could be added is that you pre-determine the pattern of landing and takeoff, such as 1 landing; 2 takeoffs or other options

In the new version, the developers maybe want to push players to spend more and more time on the game. The departure and land process needs to be simplified. Also, if we want to expand the life of our own planes. We have to spend more time on the boring landing minigame. I’m so tired of the updated game. Players want to relax from games, but not make them tired. Moreover, the M plane contracts are meaningless. Contrasting because its cost performance is not high enough. It only compresses me and makes the handling more complex. I wouldn’t like the new version compared to the previous version.

Does anyone know how to sell planes after the update??? I am willing to sell as many E190s as I have for silver planes or gold planes or money whatever.

Fleet > flip card > sell

There is no proper hangar to do that now.

Thanks for posting this. Do you have a sense yet when one should cancel a contract to make room for new ones? I notice that at some point, all I get is $ and no more XP but I’m not sure when that is. Do you know how to tell other than just not seeing that anymore?

You get Wollars for all flight handled during a contract, you only get Silver Planes and XP once a contract is completed

perhaps a stupid question, but when do i know that a contract is completed?

When you handle the last turn for the contract the system will ask you to collect rewards then extend the contract.

A few things.

  1. Contracts start at 1, each time you complete and upgrade it adds 1, so 2,3,4 etc. to a max of 10
  2. Contracts are completed after handling for generic aircraft
  3. Contracts are completed after your plane arrives with completed contract count. Rewards are given and contract extended before you handle it for the next contract.
  4. All player contracts are 10 turns. The random player version is just 1

There are a lot of cool updates in 2.0, but I’m not really finding myself enjoying it all that much at the moment. I’m feeling like I’m just constantly waiting waiting waiting for things to happen and not getting much of a sense of achievement.

I have to say that I like the update overall.
I would love an in-game pause button, because having to handle 100+ planes at IAD takes over an hour before I can start playing normally.
The limit on contracts and handling staff is also too low.
And the runway at PRG is way too slow if you handle M planes.
Hope some of this is going to det fixed soon.

In-game pause would definitely be good. When I try to check contracts or my fleet in the hangar I often get delayed planes if I don’t use the ramp agent
