Need Help with my Fleet at HKG

Hi everyone, iam building my fleet at HKG right now. And i do need some help to make it more profitable.

Right now iam having 4x B77W with the Setup 406 Eco, 0 Business, 20 First , all going to Munich, making 4362 per flight. Iam wondering if it is the perfect plane and setup, what are your recommendations? I cant find much more good routes for Pax-Planes.

As for cargo i use a lot of B77LF, is this also a good choice or do you recommend something better?

My main goal is to “farm” a lot auf silver planes at the airport.

Thanks for your help

Well, it really depends on if your focus is SP or Wollars, as those will not be gained from the same aircraft.

Silverplanes are more important for me, but also they should make at least a little profit.

For cargo, the 77LF is by far the best plane there is, so you really don’t need anything else there.

With the pax planes it’s a bit more complicated, but your route and configuration definitely make sense. The B77W get to the top of its profitability at just under 5000 NM, so the distance matches up, and the configuration is seemingly the most profitable on many routes. There are other similarly profitable routes for when you hit the contract limit for MUC, like HKG-CPH, which actually makes more (4424) wollars with your current configuration. But silver planes are calculated by aircraft size and route length, so if you want to maximize SPs, it is probably worth getting a longer route (the longer the better!) even if you lose out on a chunk of the wollar profits.

The B77W is a very solid aircraft type profit-wise, so you could very well just stick with that for your fleet. If you wanted another aircraft, you could look into getting the B744, which does make slightly more (both Wollars and SPs) on most routes, but it takes longer to handle and more handling crew - but to be fair, at HKG, neither of those are that big of a problem so it’s definitely worth considering. Also, a lot of players use A350s a lot, and they are very good for getting XP, but in other ways, the A35K is either comparable to or slightly worse than the B77W, so you probably wouldn’t get many benefits for the high unlock cost. Another thing to note is that no one plane is most optimal for all routes and it often pays to have multiple differently-sized widebodies for different route types. If I were you, I’d make the bulk of your fleet 777, then add one larger widebody (so either 747 or A380), and maybe a smaller widebody like the B789 if you have a use for it.

Thank you very much, then i will go for it. Is it also usefull to have smaller planes like the A321NX or NY, or should i just focus on the large ones?

Really depends on the routes you’re going for. In many of the playable airports, most of the stands are not widebody capable, and that’s where the A21NY really shines - in properly filling up the remaining space with still quite profitable flights. But HKG I feel like is a very widebody-heavy airport, and in many cases C-class planes would occupy the same stands as widebodies, losing this main advantage.

You should get a narrowbody (A21NY), if you want to diversify your flight routes, or maybe use them in smaller airports (or even connections to smaller airports), or if your airport isn’t fully developed yet - that way you won’t have to buy too many more large stands, and you will also be able to buy new planes much faster.

But I don’t necessarily think it’s that big of a priority, and at HKG, you can definitely work with a widebody-only fleet :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks for the advice, then I will go with widebody only!
