Use to see these flying into London Gatwick.
Because of this, I’d rather see the Max8 renamed to the Max9, and have the Max8 added as a separate plane. I don’t want my planes nerfed haha!
The A321XLR is a must in my opinion. Really the only plane not in the game I want to see that isn’t a small prop plane.
cough
Yes I know you mention it but it should still be said
Even the A321LR will be great to have in the game!
Can’t wait to see the first preview tbh
A318 aswell.
Yes i want all old soviet planes in game too. They are different kind of beauty. But someone with zero knowledge about eastern europe aviation history will tell you they are all russian and nothing even slightly russian will be in the game.
We already have an12 in game. Maybe it is good idea to add an24(passangers)/26(cargo) or big cargo arplains like an22, an124 and an225( R.I.P.)
nothing even slightly russian
an12 - the plain thet already in game was developed in Antonov construction department. I know thet Antonov corporation was located in Kiev, but there were ingenears from hole respublics of Soviet Union. It was not just an Ukrainian firm at time when an12 was in project. Oleg Antonov was boarn near Moscow. Just read his geography in Wikipedia: Oleg Antonov (aircraft designer) - Wikipedia.
History of firm: Antonov - Wikipedia
P. S. pls do not report for this post or bun me. I just add some historical facts.
We’ve been over this and if you post it again. It will be removed. Antonov has been Ukrainian for all but 7 years of its existence and is owned by the Ukrainian government.
Stop trying to split hairs
I know. Nowdays Antonov is Ukrainian firm. The most common Antonov projects for that time: An140, An148/158(idea for M aircrafts)
“Antonov was Ukrainian” is not correct.
Until official dissolution of USSR, there were no such thing on the aircraft market as russian or ukrainian aircraft. Only soviet with proper soviet marking.
“All planes were made in Ukraine” is not correct.
Design bureaus or OKBs in USSR made only research and development appointed to them by government comittee in Moscow. Final project was approved by another comittee and appointed to production plants. Ukrainian federative republic based production plants had low production rates and were not capable of mass production.
An-12 was produced in Irkutsk, Voronezh and Tashkent
An-22 was produced only in Tashkent
An-72/74 were also produced in Omsk
An-124 was produced in ukrainian Kyiv (18 aircraft ) and russian Ulyanovsk (36 aircraft)
An-225 was assembled from parts manufactured all around USSR including Russia. Most important parts for Ruslan and Mriya like wings etc were manufactured in Tashkent. So as you can see not so many Antonovs used in the game were actually made in Ukrainian federative republic.
Even after dissolution of USSR these 2 States had to cooperate to developed and produced something.
An-148/158was hugely financed by russian banks and supported by russian industry. It was also produced under license in Voronezh in Russia and most of them were produced there. After 2014 cooperation ended and Antonov was not capable to even supply spare parts for planes of Cubana or Saratov Airlines and after few years of service they ended grounded by russian and cuban officials due to safety concerns.
Is Antonov Ukrainian now? Yes it definitely is.
Are all Antonovs produced before 2014 100% Ukrainian? No, definitely not.
I wish Antonov all the best in the future and I am a big fan of company but I do not like wrong statements.
Thank you to help explain my thought!
True. Antonov 148/158 is beautiful aircraft. It should be added but almost nobody operated them.
