  • Bases and Focus Cities:
EHAM, PANC, KDTW, KMEM, KMSP, RJTT, RJAA, KIND, and KDCA

  • WOA Airports served:
    KIAD, KSAN, and maybe RNGO

  • Is this airline currently flying?:
No, merged with Delta Airlines in 2010

  • Aircraft types used:
    A319, A320, A332, A333, B741, B742 (and B742F), B743 (300M), B744, B752, B753, DC91, DC93, DC94, DC95, DC10 (DC-10-30 and -40), and MD82; Yes I know a lot of those aren’t in-game or being worked, but just listed in totality for future’s sake. Though I think MD-80s and DC-9s/DC-10s should be in.

  • I think Northwest Airlines should be included if there are retro airlines they were huge part of North American and even Asian aviation. They were unique in that they had many dedicated cargo aircraft and routes in addition to their passenger service. Their merger also helped Delta Airlines become the largest fleet in the world at the time, as they operated 20-75 of all types listed. Also, it goes without saying, but their pre 2003 bowling shoe livery and post 2003 sleek livery are simple yet beautiful.

Another dead airline that have some very colourful liverys which died in 2008. It did comeback in 2020 with A340-600 to carry medical supplies and other than that they are now European Cargo.

  5. At 2012 this airline merged with United Airline. I think this should be added because it was one of the biggest airline in US

A Repost of BMI baby as the original post I took down due to bad picture quality and a missing livery.
BMI baby was an UK airline based in East Midlands owned by BMI. Around 2012 after BMI shut down it was run IAG however put on sale. No one bought it and shut down in September 2012 after only 10 years in operation. Although BMI baby did not fly to LHR in real life it can be used for fictional purposes.

Such a shame BMI and its Subsidiaries all went was good airline and was part of the scene at Heathrow. It’s pity we don’t have a Chapter 11 bankruptcy style over here. Touch wood nothing happens to Loganair or Blue Islands etc.

I haven’t flown BMI though I did flew BMI baby to East Midlands from Dublin though I was too young to remember it but I think I was on one of the liverys in picture 4. But I do remember it was a great airline to fly.

Airline: Kingfisher Airlines
Hub: Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi
Fleet: A320, AT42, A330s, A340
On order: A380, A350

It would be fantastic if the A380 livery was added. The airline ordered these in 2005 and had doubled its number from 5 to 10. These were scheduled for delivery in 2010-11. Some reports also say that they were built but not painted. Due to the cash crunch in the airline, they could not take deliveries and the airline ended up suspending all operations in 2012.
The A340 however was building and even painted in the livery for delivery.
Now in game we have all airlines who actually operated the A380, but they are still few. Adding this would give the game another A380. Also the first one in Southeast Asia.

  5. PSA is an iconic airline and there currently aren’t any American operators for the BAe 146 in the game which is why PSA will be a unique special arrival if it’s added with the upcoming BAe 146 remodel.

Alaska absorbed them and their fleet, retiring them last year. Would be nice to add.

Why?: To any UK aviation enthusiasts in the mid 2000s-2010s, TUI was a common sight out of most UK airports and many more across Europe.

Fate: TUI Group (Germany) did a re-brand across all fleets, turning Thomson in the TUI Airways we know today.

First ‘batch’ of liveries

Oh yea I really like the Thompson Christmas livery and I believe that family life hotels is still in operation with OO-JAF

It’s a different 737, the UK family life ended up with Belavia

Unfortunately to my understanding the aircraft has now been sold and operates under EW-544PA for Belivia.

And still

Trust me that special livery is still in operation but not in the UK, G-FDZG no longer has that livery.
